![]() ![]() Same goes for all the stocks and all the foreends. 412's are so accurately made the barrel of one fits any other one. The 412 is essentially a Finnish made Model 32 or a Krieghoff, which is essentially a very well made German Model 32. For years, Valmet made cheap but well made versions of the 32 for field use, but with the 412 they got serious. The reason they look so much like Krieghoffs is because the Krieghoffs didn't get ALL the Remington Model 32 tooling after WWII. They have no faults, no problems of any kind I've ever heard of. They last hundreds of thousands of rounds. What you have is not a 'poor man's Krieghoff', but I would like to say 'a tightwad's Krieghoff'. If it says Valmet 412ST it is an original gun made in Finland and it is a goodie. ![]() I own three Valmet 412's, and wish I owned more. ![]()
